Professional Background
I began my career in the construction industry in 1986, working as a carpenter and contractor across a wide range of residential and commercial building projects throughout Ontario. From 1986 to 2001, I operated primarily as a self-employed contractor, gaining hands-on experience in all aspects of construction.
In 2001, I founded Ramer Contracting, a Design & Build company. This allowed me to integrate my growing interest in design with my construction expertise, giving me the opportunity to both develop designs and see them through to completion. This experience deepened my understanding of practical, buildable design and helped shape my approach to project planning and client consultation.
By 2012, I transitioned fully into the design and consulting side of the construction industry. Since then, I have been working full time in building design, specializing in the preparation of detailed blueprints and plans for a wide variety of projects. Today, our firm, now operating as Blueprint Station, continues to offer comprehensive design and blueprint services for new construction, renovations, and additions.

When I'm not working on my clients projects I enjoy sailing, fly fishing, spending time with family and friends.
